The surgery is performed in the doctor’s office or in the
operating room. If the patient is an adult it can be done under
local anesthesia in the doctor’s office, but if the patient is a
child, it will be performed in the operating room with the help
of our anaesthesiologist. I perform Otoplaties in patients 5
year or older. This treatment is an out patient procedure,
during the post operative the patient will wear small bandages
over the ears, and can return to normal activity 3 days after
the surgery.
Results are guaranteed, but because of this, the post operative
care the patient has is very important. This is a simple
procedure which
offers great changes,
of great satisfaction for the patient and his or her family.
